Catholic Schools Week is a national celebration of Catholic education and an opportunity to recognize the importance, the value, and the contributions of Catholic education to the Church and the world.

 

Sunday: "Celebrate Your Parish" We will celebrate our Parish by offering a pancake breakfast hosted by Student Council, as well as our "Pack-the-Pews Challenge" during 10:30 AM Mass. If we can pack the Church, students will be treated with donut holes on Thursday by Mr. Armato!

 

Monday: "Celebrating Your Community" We will celebrate our community by hosting a "Super Bowl Food Drive Challenge." Preschool-3rd Grade will represent the KC Chiefs and 4-8th Grade will represent the SF 49ers. The team to collect the most non-perishable food will win! 

 

Tuesday: "Celebrating Your Students" We will celebrate students by offering a dress-down day, as well as hosting a STREAM Day in the afternoon. STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, art and mathematics) stations will be set up throughout the school and students will rotate through all of the stations. STEAM activities offer students the opportunity to learn while they are having fun. 

 

Wednesday: "Celebrating Your Nation" We will celebrate our nation by putting together care packages for our nation's deployed military personal. 

 

Thursday: "Celebrating Vocations" We will celebrate our vocations (a strong feeling of suitability for a particular career or occupation) by participating in a religious vocation trivia contest. 

 

Friday: "Celebrating Your School" We will celebrate our school with an all-schools Mass at Newman Central Catholic High School for grades K-8. School will dismiss at noon. 

 

Saturday: "Celebrating Families" We will celebrate our families during the 30th Annual St. Anne School Gala! Our "Belts & Buckles Bash" will be held from 5-10 PM at the Dixon Brandywine. Please join us for an amazing evening of food, entertainment and tons of silent/live auction items. Yee-Haw!
