Our Catholic school, in collaboration with parents and guardians as the primary educators, seek to educate the whole child by providing an excellent education rooted in Gospel values. The success of this mission depends on the key components of effective governance, which provides direction and authority, and leadership, which ensures effective operations. Governance and leadership, based on the principles and practices of excellence, are essential to insuring the Catholic identity, academic excellence, and operational vitality of our school. The Preschool and Elementary Education Commission (Commission) serves as a subset of the Education Council. Its mandate is:
To listen to parents and discern the needs of the parish school
To build relationships, providing an environment for the building
and experiencing of community within the school and parish
To provide students with opportunities for faith formation and worship
To assure the school has sufficient qualified leadership, faculty and staff
To reflect on the mission of the Church by providing an environment for the teaching of
doctrine and Sacred Scripture
To support the mission of the Diocese
To assist the pastor in addressing the educational needs of the
school
